'There’s other things in life too,' Novak Djokovic hints at the recurring contemplation of retirement

While talking about his plans for the future, Djokovic spoke about the importance of balancing his life as a professional player and a father of two children. Nole revealed that he still has fire in his belly but is often struck with the thought of doing other things in life. 

The 4-year-old Novak is still inside and still in love with this sport and still hungry for more. But at the same time, there's probably a more mature Novak, a father and a husband, who is like, ' Come on, man. There's other things in life too. said Novak Djokovic on Good Trouble

Furthermore, the 36-year-old admitted that he does not have an expiration date, but would sometimes wish for a normal life. With two growing kids, the Serbian often misses a chance to see them grow and is trying to balance his life.

What “Good Trouble” means to Novak Djokovic

Serbian pro Novak Djokovic was the recent guest on Nick Kyrgios’ podcast “Good Trouble”. While Djokovic entertained the audience with his multiple stories, there was one that caught their eye, his meaning about “Good Trouble”. 

As usual, the Serbian had both a serious and a funny answer. He began on a serious note, explaining that “good trouble” involves actions that reflect a person’s true self but can still get them into trouble.

If you are good with your deeds. If you are good with your mistakes as well. If you are at peace with that. I think that’s good trouble.  Novak Djokovic said

The conversation only got better from here on, with each of them sharing an important lesson in their life and more. Coming back to the present, Djokovic has yet to win a title or even have a deep run in a tournament. His latest loss was in the third round of the Italian Open against Alejandro Tabilo. 

On the other hand, Kyrgios is also yet to make a comeback, as the fans await the auspicious date. Two great players are yet to shine on the court and are expected to do so in the future.
